Our Warehouse in West Sacramento, CA
West Sacramento sits at the crossroads of I-5 and I-80, placing it within a two-hour drive of the Port of Oakland and directly on the inland freight corridor serving Northern California, Nevada, and the Pacific Northwest. This makes USKO's facility a natural staging point for cargo arriving from domestic suppliers or outbound to Oakland for ocean export.
The warehouse is equipped to receive, inspect, store, and prepare a wide range of cargo including personal vehicles, agricultural and heavy equipment, household goods, and general freight. Drive-in bays and open staging areas support both container-load operations and LCL (less-than-container-load) consolidation runs.
- Drive-in vehicle and equipment bays
- Accepts cars, trucks, machinery, household goods, and general freight
- Direct staging for Port of Oakland container export
Logistics Services in Our Warehouse
From receipt at our dock through delivery to the port or your customer, USKO handles every link in the chain. All services are available on a per-shipment or ongoing contract basis.
Short & Long-Term Storage
Flexible storage terms for vehicles, equipment, household goods, and general freight. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates available. Cargo is logged on receipt and accessible for owner inspection by appointment.
Cargo Consolidation (LCL)
Ship only what you have. USKO consolidates freight from multiple shippers into a single container - reducing per-unit cost for overseas clients who don't have a full container load. Pricing is weight- and volume-based.
Transloading
Transfer cargo between trucks, rail, and ocean containers at our facility. Particularly useful when domestic carriers deliver to our dock and cargo must be repacked or reloaded into export-spec containers before port delivery.
Inventory Staging & Export Prep
Stage assembled cargo lots ahead of vessel loading windows. USKO coordinates port delivery timing, documentation preparation, and booking confirmations so your cargo moves to Oakland on schedule.
U.S. Purchasing and Logistics Agent for Overseas Buyers
Many of USKO's overseas clients need more than shipping - they need a trusted U.S.-based partner who can source, inspect, purchase, and ship goods on their behalf. USKO Shipping acts as that agent: buying vehicles, equipment, parts, or general goods from U.S. sellers, taking custody at our West Sacramento warehouse, and arranging international export.
This service is especially valuable for clients in regions where direct purchasing from U.S. dealers, auto auctions, or suppliers is logistically complex - Central Asia, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. USKO Shipping handles the full chain: bid, buy, receive, store, consolidate, and ship.

Warehousing & Logistics - Frequently Asked Questions
Are there minimum or maximum storage periods?
No minimum storage period is required - USKO accommodates short-term holds (even a single day for transload staging) through multi-month storage contracts. Long-term storage rates are available for clients awaiting vessel space, export documentation clearance, or seasonal shipping windows. Contact us for a current rate schedule.
What types of cargo can USKO accept at the warehouse?
The facility accepts personal vehicles, commercial trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, heavy and agricultural equipment, household goods and personal effects, palletized general freight, and bulk loose cargo. Cargo requiring temperature control or hazardous-materials handling falls outside standard storage - contact us to discuss specific requirements.
How does consolidation pricing work?
LCL (less-than-container-load) consolidation is priced on a revenue-ton basis - the greater of actual weight or volumetric weight, measured in cubic meters. USKO provides a per-shipment quote once dimensions and weights are confirmed. Consolidation runs are scheduled around vessel departure windows from the Port of Oakland.
How do I arrange pickup or delivery to the warehouse?
USKO coordinates both inbound and outbound freight. For domestic inbound, we provide our West Sacramento dock address and receiving hours and can arrange drayage from nearby freight terminals or auctions on request. For outbound to port, USKO schedules container pickup and port delivery directly. Contact our team to coordinate any movement.
