Freight and Cargo Services

Whether you're shipping a single pallet or a full container load, USKO Shipping handles every freight type with FMC-licensed expertise and direct port access.

FCL Container Shipping

Full container load shipments (20ft and 40ft) for businesses moving large volumes of goods to international ports.

LCL Container Shipping

Less-than-container-load consolidation for smaller shipments - share container space and reduce cost without sacrificing reliability.

Air Freight

Time-sensitive cargo shipped by air to destinations worldwide - faster transit with the same customs coordination and documentation support.

Break-Bulk Cargo

Non-containerized or oversized cargo loaded individually and secured for ocean transport - ideal for irregular-shaped or heavy freight.

Freight by Ocean Containers

When your timeline allows flexible scheduling, ocean freight is one of the most cost-effective shipping options. USKO Shipping ships general freight of nearly every kind, including palletized and boxed goods, retail and wholesale merchandise, industrial parts and equipment, building materials, and agricultural products. Whether you have a Full Container Load (FCL) or Less than Container Load (LCL), we ship your cargo to any destination worldwide. We arrange pickup from anywhere in the U.S. and Canada, deliver to one of our loading facilities, and handle your shipment through to its overseas destination.

Freight by Air

When timing is critical, air freight is the answer. USKO Shipping ships time-sensitive general freight by air, including urgent parts and components, samples and documents, perishable goods, and high value merchandise that can't wait on an ocean transit. Through our airline partner network, we offer flexible, real-time scheduling and coordinate all documentation your air freight shipment needs, so your cargo moves as fast as the timeline demands.

Shipping Household Goods, Big or Small

Whether you're relocating for good, sending belongings to family, or shipping a few boxes overseas, USKO Shipping handles your household goods from loading and packaging through to delivery. Shipments are consolidated (LCL) for smaller loads or containerized (FCL) for full household moves, with export documentation handled for you.

Specialized and Oversized Cargo

Heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, and static or non-running equipment need specialized handling: flat rack containers, RORO loading on MAFI trailers, crane access, and proper lashing to maritime standards. USKO Shipping coordinates this at our partner terminals in Oakland, New York, Savannah, Chicago, and Houston.

See our Heavy Machinery & Equipment page for full details.

Warehouse Consolidation and Transloading

If your cargo doesn't fill a full container, USKO Shipping consolidates it (LCL) with other shipments headed to the same destination. We also transload inland freight, moving cargo from truck or rail into ocean containers at our warehouse, reducing drayage costs and simplifying handling.

Visit our Warehousing page for consolidation, transloading, and storage details.

How the Freight Forwarding Process Works

From the moment you contact USKO Shipping to final delivery at the destination port or address, here's what the process looks like - step by step.

1. Cargo Booking & Pickup

Tell us your cargo type, origin, destination, and timeline. USKO arranges pickup or drop-off at our West Sacramento warehouse and issues a booking confirmation.

2. Documentation & Compliance

We prepare all required export documentation - commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, EEI filing, and any destination-country import requirements.

3. Warehousing & Consolidation

Cargo is received, inspected, and staged at our facility. LCL shipments are consolidated with compatible freight; FCL shipments are loaded to full container.

4. Port Loading & Vessel Departure

Containers are delivered to your chosen U.S. terminal - Oakland, New York, Savannah, Chicago, or Houston - and loaded onto the vessel for international transit.

5. Tracking

Track your shipment directly on the website using your shipment or container details. Check key updates for port departure, ocean transit, customs progress, and final delivery coordination.
